I sent in my confirmation of acceptance to the MFA program at the University of Windsor, school of visual arts. The next two years will find me working through (what I hope turns out to be) many interactive and community-based works.

I'm working on a final project for Digital Media & Interactivity today. The learning curve of Max/Msp/Jitter isn't so bad, I just don't know where to begin with some things - and the fact that the program is so large, I supposed I'm overwhelmed at times. Just to top it off for good measure, I'm also going to install Quartz Composer, making my arsenal of programming environments 3 strong - Max/Msp/Jitter, Processing, Quartz Composer. Each one will surface as a useful tool in the appropriate situation, though I have to wonder how long before I am a useful programmer in any of them.

It's snowing in April. What is going on?

p.s. also (finally) beat Mario and Luigi - Partners in Time last night.
