»sending MIDI from QC to Max

sending midi from quartz composer to max/msp/jitter

I was hoping to go about sending information via UDP from Quartz Composer to Max, but I couldn't figure it out. I could easily send UDP from one Max patch to another, but I was unable to reassign the port in QC—maybe this was just a matter of not knowing what to do with the IP address within QC.

At any rate, I've now successfully passed MIDI from QC to Max, as you can see in the above image, and I'm on my way to now using that information to trigger sound in response to the RSS project for the January show.
