We recently made the move up to Leopard, so far very good, I'm quite enamoured by it actually. However, a problem with a Max (jitter actually) object is frustrating...
jit.uldl is now a bogus object in leopard, leaving some projects stalled until I can figure out a different way to bring web data into a max project, or until max 5 comes out with hopefully a fix or new object altogether.
I know, processing is likely a better choice, but I can't imagine having the patience to get involved in learning another language at the moment. However, there is a new Quartz composer that came with Leopard, new xml objects, easy connection to web for data... we'll see what happens.
UPDATE: Doing a little more digging this morning found an update to the uldl object. I was trying to think of an alternative by seeing if php could write to a local file, or set up a script that would incrementally pull a text file from the server and have Max read from that. So for now, my old project is working, though I have many adjustments to make.
